Check engine灯亮了是说明车内部某部分机械有故障.可能是某个sensor坏了。可能是其他方面的毛病。
你现在需要做的是找个修车房。让他们用一个电脑读码器和你车上的电脑相连。把代码读出来。在按照你的车的厂家（丰田，本田，通用之类的厂家）的代码找到相关的信息。然后，你先不要急，修车房的人肯定跟你说这个要换那个要换的。他们是想赚你的钱。如果估算下来修理费比较高的话
我建议你开着车，并且拿着那个代码和故障报告，车版的版主得车房问问他，问问看修理费多少。他比较实在会告诉你这东西值不值得修。如果要修，会给你报价。他那里检车也是免费的。

顺便说句。楼主你应该按照保养时间表来做保养。比如那些air filter, fuel filter之类的东西。
很多换机油的地方，他们都不给你看得。你要心里有数什么时候改换了。air filter国内空气脏每次换机油的时候需要换。这里空气干净所以一般自己换，1年检查一次。一个air filter才10-20快不等。CT有卖的。
Fuel filter也需要2年换一次。否则，脏东西多了，会堵住你的fuel injector.
你得车是新车，其他的也没什么要注意的了。祝你好运！

It could be round or square. You can go to Canadian Tire's air filter section, check the year and maker of the car to buy the right one. Turn the screw or put off the clips and then open the cover, it is very easy to replace.
If you did not change it for a while, the car engine will not run smoothly.
It happened to my minivan few months ago. The van is about three years old too.
