medical exam for visitor visa

My mom has just been asked to have a medical exam for her visitor's visa application. Does anyone here know normally how long it takes between the exam and the issuance of the visa? Thanks a lot for any info.

Don't worry about it as long as you have applied for an extension before the expiry date.

Don't worry. If you are asking about before she come here, apply the visa in the place where she lives, then it would be around 1 month. But if this happens in here about extend application then after your Mon have the medical exam, She can stay here until the result of the visitor visa arrives. Even before that the expire date pass. The only thing you have to do is let your Mon do medical exam on time.
