Woman Killed After Being Hit by Car

Ottawa Police continue to investigate a fatal pedestrian accident on Merivale Road this morning.

Police say a truck travelling southbound struck a car turning left onto Central Park Drive. The impact of the crash forced the truck onto the sidewalk, hitting a woman.

She was pronounced dead at the scene.

No other information has been released.
