Any suggestion for Camcorder?

Planning to buy a camcorder, any good camcorder around $1000? I was told sony is good, but I am not sure which style is good quliality.
Any suggestions?

Sony has the best camcorder.

I bought Sony camcorder TRV11 1 year ago. It is very good.
