请教个遥控器的问题

CITIZEN的电视，遥控器不起作用了，现在不确认是遥控器的问题还是电视机接受系统的问题。如果我买个UNIVERSAL的遥控器，能弄好吗？
不太明白这种通用遥控器的原理，是直接就能用，还是要用我原来的遥控器来设置了才可以使用。

It depends if your TV is in the compatiable list of the universal remote control. If yes, you are lucky. If not, you have to buy a self-learning universal remote control to learn the codes of your old one.

check the battery first. this type of thing is hard to break.

if not battery, you need to read the manual, which will tell you how to program your VCR or DVD remote control to work with your TV.

it still refused to work with new batteries.
I don't have the manual because it is a used one. I will try a universal remote late.
