没看过小说，只看过电影，大陆官方好像不太喜欢该电影。最近被禁的中国电影《颐和园》有该电影的味道。

几十年以后，历史做出了选择，只是付出１－２代人的代价。而在中国，要多于２代。当然，这丝毫不影响你的$100,000/year，在中国的下层人士面前，甚至更能显示你的优越。

i saw this movie in China too. the censorship does not seem to hurt. the chinese translation is very bad, esp. the title.

Censoship is not found only in China. I went to my local library on Sunday and it has a list of censored books in USA.
