an Open Letter to CFC System Administrator

Dear CFC system administrator,

This open letter is regarding the incident that the thread with the title "Continued "境外“法轮功”骨干接连病死"" which I originally posted on 9/24/06 and included many comments posted by other people was mysteriously and completely deleted without any explanation or notification or even an warning.

Obviously surreptitious conduct of this nature raises concerns about the principles and practice of CFC in terms of integrity, fairness and openness. Therefore there are following questions that I would like to bring to your attention.

1. Please tell us if you are the one who is responsible for deleting the thread?

2. If yes, would you please explain if there is any particular reason or reasons for you to think it's necessary to take that action since I did not even see any complaint about any of the comments in the thread?

3. Why since the thread was deleted my comments were blocked (if they are longer than a couple of lines) while other people can freely post comments without any problem? There has been no changes in my system whatsoever during this period in case you may wonder.

The reason that these questions are raised is because I am one of the concerned CFC netizens.

CFC is a private property and the owner does not obliged to give any reason for whatever management issues. Take it easy.

We all know it's often the case that secrecy destroys openness and fairness which in tern destroy integrity and prosperity. Only those who have skeletons to hide enjoy secrecy, such as totalitarian regimes or secret police or criminals and so on...

On the other hand, I think it's important for CFC's prosperity to have an open and fair environment. If you think there is anything improper on my part, please point it out openly on CFC. I will definitely appreciate it if you can do that, because it will help me to be a better person and I think many people can learn something from my mistake (if any) and be better persons too. It will also make CFC a more attractive and pleasant place to visit.
