本人在 MIDAS AUTO SERVICE EXPERTS 修车，发现他们的发票DOUBLE 了所有的PARTS的价格，再加另外的人工费。 当我问那老板为什么时，那白人老板竟回答：“How I can live, how I can earn money if I am not double the parts price.". 我问他，这是不是他们的policy， 他回答“YES”。无赖，
我付了双倍的价格取回了我的车，希望我的同胞不要再付这种双倍的价格了。

这个店的地址是： 1772 Carling Avenuue.

Go to this kind of store, you shoud ask them estimate first, then if you agree with that price, sign it. then they hardly to give you a different bill. And if you have that estimated paper, there is a place you can complain, but if you don't have anything in hand. It's really hard to say he doubled the price. He can say you were agree with that price.

You can send a letter to BBB (Better Business Bureau) to make a file complaint. Send a copy of your invoices to BBB also. Let them know what happened on you, they will do something for you.

In this case, you better talk to BBB. My friend she got a bad experience with Honda. And she talked to their manager, and the manager told her everyone made mistakes. So,she wrote letter to the main office in Toronto,and the same time. She told me she wrote a letter to BBB. Within a weeks,the BBB give her a call, and even the Honda. So,I think you should talk to BBB.

In this case, you better talk to BBB. My friend she got a bad experience with Honda. And she talked to their manager, and the manager told her everyone made mistakes. So,she wrote letter to the main office in Toronto,and the same time. She told me she wrote a letter to BBB. Within a weeks,the BBB give her a call, and even the Honda. So,I think you should talk to BBB.

Supermonkey is right, you should do something and let them know you won't just let it go. I had some experience of travel agency, I told them I will take them to the "Small amount court", then they refund all my money.

Good for you! I am sure if they receive letter from BBB. They will do something for you. But just in case, ask for your money back. Dont' go back and fix your car, not even ask for coupons.

因刚来加不久，对这里的行情不熟悉。本以为MIDAS是一家联锁店，会比较可信，没想会这样的。花钱买了这个教训，也许有很多朋友刚来都有过这种经历。

我有个提仪：能不能大家做一个专题，把好的修车店推荐出来，列出店名，地点，电话，特长等。让新来的同胞少走弯路，少花这种冤枉钱；同时也给自己同胞开的店多带点生意。

I am sure why it would happen to you. I had been to Midas at Bells Corner and never had any bad experience. They are courteous and very reasonable at the labor and parts. Since it is a franchise, you should be able to report it to the head office and get it resolved in a reasonable manner very quickly.

It is always a good idea to have a written estimate. I know that Midas given written estimate without charge, I like their free break inspections and the guy will always give me an honest opinions which most of the time confirm with my own suspicions.

The cost of auto repairs is never cheat and it is a price you will have to pay for owning a car. I am just curious about your accusation that he is double charging, can you show us the bill?

Of course I can show the bill to everybody. If you want to see, please give me your Fax, I can fax to you. Actually I have showed the invoice to my local friends, and they know my car before sent and after picked up from MIADS in Carling, they are all witness. If you are interesting, welcome to my place to chat with witness.

Here, I just type one of items in below:
Spark Plugs each $27.00 + Labour 19.75 , total 4 Spark plugs $187.00
I have checked with GM and other auto service; spark plug price is $15.15 each, no one over this price.

I am sure why it would happen to you. I had been to Midas at Bells Corner and never had any bad experience. They are courteous and very reasonable at the labor and parts. Since it is a franchise, you should be able to report it to the head office and get it resolved in a reasonable manner very quickly.

It is always a good idea to have a written estimate. I know that Midas given written estimate without charge, I like their free break inspections and the guy will always give me an honest opinions which most of the time confirm with my own suspicions.

I never doubt about chinese people when they told me these kind of stories, I believe if they didn't have the bad experience, they won't waste time to do this in here. Like my friend she asked the information about her EI, the lady who working in government asked her, do you know how to use computer? do you know how to send E-mail. My friend she has Master dgree!!!, there is some people took advantage of chinese, when their English is not very good!
