It was great before the renovation, haven't been there yet after the Summer shut down.
For the ID cards, it depends on the events, and days ... but normally it is okay to sign guests in.
It was packed most Thursdays and Fridays; a lot of sold out events; and pretty good lounge before 1900.
You can dance on the dance floor when it is open; it doesn't open all the time though.
