最近想把车身高度降一点,看到Eibach的pro-kit spring价钱还不错,$349加税。前面低1英寸,后面低1.4英寸。只是不知道只换弹簧对车的安全和性能有没有影响?希望各位懂车的达人能帮忙解决一下问题,谢谢。

换避震手工费很贵的。建议问好了手工费在买弹簧。
 
the lower ur car is to the ground the more balanced u are, more stable. But lowering do cause problems.

Your struts take more pressure means it will fail sonner, ur clearances is going to be small now since ur car is closer to the ground. ur tires will wear more because lowering the car puts a small angel on the tires.

If you want to do it right, order after market stunts and a chamber kit too.

I suggest the cheapest way to go and the ok way is, KYB GR2 struts, $250ish for all 4. those springs u wanted, 1.5inch drop, or get the sport lines, cheaper and 1.8inch drop. and a chamber kit to make sure ur tires are all touching the ground perfectly.

你好,我前一阵跟你买的h3 疝气灯泡用着很不错,先谢谢啦。因为车加了body kit,现在看起来车的高度有一点偏高,所以才会想到去换弹簧而达到看起来更运动的效果。
 
o还有几个问题要问问大家。

换四个弹簧的手工费大概是多少呢?如果很贵的话,那就。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。夏天再换!

如果换了弹簧,车开起来是不是很硬,会不会有拖拉机的效果(感觉没有减震)呢?

还有我看到马路上有些车改得很低,但是后轮上部看起来明显有向里倾斜的现象,那样对行车有影响吗?是不是像上面 达人kevio180 建议的就没问题了?

最后就是Eibach的pro-kit 跟sport lines有什么区别吗?除了降车身的高度不同。改车行比较建议pro-kit。

the thing is, in order to change ur springs, they have to take off wheel, brake then struts. its about 3 hour job the last time I did it with a friend.

The day u bought the rsx u gave up on comfort. Its a sports tuner, not a Bentley. U want the car for only because it looks cool and its fast right? Lowering the car means stiffer springs, harsh rides, but that also means more stable car meaning better tire traction better speed.

Adding drop springs will wear on ur car's struts, everyone knows that who had drops without newer after market struts. Plus they are taking their take taking urs off to put the springs on, why not do it at the same time and save money.

Pro kit on ur rsx is actually what I would install too. It is an tuned stiff suspension spring that handles corners very well. Sports line is basically the same thing, but not tuned as well, slightly softer but it cancels out with the bigger drop for the balance. Both springs are excellent springs, it all depends on ur taste.

The thing with the back slightly up is what it suppose to do. As the same as in riding a motorcycle, u need to keep the front down to gain more speed, more aerodynamic. When u lunch for take off ur front will always want to go up, by keeping the front lower, when it does go up its just leveled with the rest, making it like an arrow cutting through the wind resistance.

Get a ruler, go measure the gap between ur wheel fender to the top of ur tires. If you have it between 2.5 to 2 inches, use pro kit, anything over 2.5 inches use sport lines.
 
就是coil spring 吧?几天前我的一根弹簧断了,到canadian tire换了。
弹簧只要41,但人工费126。
还有其他乱七八糟。

每当自己的爱车更接近一步自己心目中完美的样子,就更有对这部车厌倦的感觉,自己也说不出为什么,总之这种感觉很矛盾。
这部车是我以前的DREAM CAR,还记得一年前车刚到手那种兴奋与满足,但是现在突然没有喜欢这部车的理由了。
最近一直在考虑FF车到底有没有改装的必要?还是FR更好一些呢?
 
Hi. It really all depends on what are you planning to do with the car. Are you planning on racing? Or just have enough speed to have fun in?

If you are planning on pure drag or drift, buy a FR and make sure you have another car for winter, because the power you add to the car isn't going to handle the snow too well.

But if you just want to drive around with friends, look good and maybe race sometimes, keep your car. rsx has been the spot light of the tuner world as soon as it came out and replaced the integra, I would of bought one if I didn't want a 4door car.

Now its been a long way since the FR vs FF story kicked off, and really, as time passes by, all the things you can do to a car is going to cancel out.

I have thought about getting a 240sx and get rid of my jetta, but the more i think about, the amount of money to invest into a fr and finally make it the car I wanted to be driving, and also adding another winter car, its just way too much.

What I would do is, chip the ecu, add a bolt-on turbo kit, do some upgrades and if it can hit 300whp, you are running high 11s to low 12s, and that is fast enough. And really, your car looks nice, its an rsx, come on, u gonna love it even more after u lower it.

换越野弹簧+加降车身, 再换个磨的差不的旧轮胎, 就可以玩漂移了.
 
Oh, then your car is perfect man. RSX always look sexy. Make some taste full changes, add a little power to it, nice rims, good tires and you will have so much fun in it you won't ever want to stop driving, lol. Post a picture of your car and lets see how good it looks now

The high 11s and low 12s mean in a 1/4 mile race(normal drag racing) high 11seconds(11.8-9 seconds) and low 12seconds(12.1-2 seconds). It just means you should be running fast enough without actually scaring yourself and trying to change your driving style just to control your car.

最近打算在车内前挡风玻璃左侧的立柱上加装几个小仪表,加装仪表的塑料板和仪表已经到手,只是不知道怎样装。不知达人有没有好的建议和安装指南。
还有就是我想加装一个换档警示灯,因为跟别人小飚一下的时候总是掌握不好换档的时机,往往都是车自动断油的时候才换档,我也知道这样对发动机极不好,所以问问有没有什么方法可以避免这种问题 。

FF can't drift, then again, why? Drifting requires training, and tires, you need to buy lots of tires, and go to the tracks often.
What you can do is, save $2000, buy an 240sx, practice with that, then put in another $3000 to put in the turbo redtop engine, you be running 220hp under that drift car.

With your shifting, drive your car, push it hard to the redline(most the time your power will cut before redline), and when the car feels like it isn't giving anymore power in that rpm range, make a note of it, and remember it. That point will be your best point to shift, and when you are racing, shift right at that point will allow you constant powerband.With the shift light, it works good, but you have to set it your self, its not an ecu controlled thing, so its all up to you to feel when the shift must happen.

And with the other gauges, look on the rsx forums and there should be a DIY for it, if not, take it to a local shop I'm sure they can install it and shouldn't be that much. Or ask someone on the forums in Ottawa to do it for you for a small fee.

Which gauges did u get? cause some just hook it right up to the dash. Volt meter goes on to the battery, and oil pressure, water temp are just dash pods.
