If you are selling to Quebec buyer, you don't need to do anything.
If you are selling to Ontario buyer, then you might be asked to do the safety check and e-test. But it is up to you. You could include the cost in your price, or sell it as it is without doing the 2 test.
I sold my car to a Ontario buyer without the 2 test, and the buyer did them by herself.
