Bring your child to a First Words screening clinic, they're free of charge and don't require an appointment.

First Words screening clinics are open to Ottawa children until they become eligible to attend senior kindergarten. Clinics provide parents with an opportunity to consult with a speech-language pathologist who will check your child for signs of a speech or language delay. All clinics are able to serve families in both official languages. Our free screening clinics are "drop-in" and don't require an appointment.
