Here's some math from another post:. It compares the MP5 you get from crit to standard MP5.
Baseline Calculations:
Holy Light = 840 Mana = 504 Mana on Illumination return
1% of 504 is 5.04 mana (for 1% crit)
(5.04 / 2.5 sec cast time) * 5 sec = 10.1 MP5 (w/o Light's Grace)
(5.04 / 2 sec cast time) * 5 sec = 12.6 MP5 (w/ Light's Grace)
Flash of Light = 180 Mana = 108 Mana on Illumination return
1% of 108 is 1.08 mana (for 1% crit)
(1.08 / 1.5 sec cast time) * 5 sec = 3.6 MP5
Crit to MP5 "Equivalency"
(Note: Each stat on each item has an item cost, this equivalency compares crit cost to MP5 cost)
1 Crit Rating Point = 1 Item point
1 MP5 = 2.4 Item point
1% crit @ 70 = 21.1 Crit Rating points
Therefore: 1% Crit = 8.8 MP5
(This means you can get an item with 1% crit or 8.8 MP5 for the same "item cost".)

Comments:
1) From the above calculations, stacking +crit appears good for HL Spaming (12.6 MP5 vs 8.8 MP5), but not FoL spamming (3.6 vs 8.8).
2) But, the big question here is, do you spam Holy Light non-stop? I don't. (Spamming HL will leave you OOM in less than a minute.) In addition to using HL, I usually cleanse, judge/seal and use FoL. So, the question is how often do you cast HL? Look at the calculations below:
Casting 1 HL every 3 secs:
(5.04 / 3 sec 'cast time') * 5 sec = 8.4 MP5
Casting 1 HL every 4 secs:
(5.04 / 4 sec cast time) * 5 sec = 6.3 MP5
Casting 1 HL every 5 secs:
(5.04 / 5 cast time) * 5 sec = 5 MP5
Casting 1 HL every 6 secs:
(5.04 / 6 cast time) * 5 sec = 4.2 MP5
Each of these MP5 numbers are below the 8.8 MP5 you can get from equivalent MP5 gear. Therefore, the less often you cast HL, the better MP5 gear is for mana regen.
3) These calcs don't take into account the extra HPS gained by +crit.

Conclusions:
1) From my own experience, on average I cast HL less than once every 5 secs. Sure, there are spots I need to spam HL, but over the course of a fight I have to cleanse, judge/seal, stun, melee, move or cast FoL. Each time you stop casting HL, for any reason, MP5 becomes more valuable than +crit.
2) +crit has the added bonus of increasing your HPS, which is nice. However, I've found that crit heals are often overheals. With this in mind though I recommend that you dump a little MP5 for +heal (due to the huge advantage MP5 has over +crit). That way you'll have better mana regen and HPS.
Bottom Line: In most fights, for me, MP5 is vastly superior to +crit.. Is it for you? That's for you to decide.
