Which bank is a little bit better?

Every bank is pretty much the same, since they hold your money, they can screw you any way they want, the only question is how soon..

TD does care their service, we used them few years before, they phoned us once a while to make sure we are satisfied their service. but their service fee is higher. currently using pc and scotia bank. they are both good. I personally hate BMO, when I was once in another city to open an account, they made a minor mistake, I went 3 times and they never correct it. after I came to ottawa, I thought it should be better because it was different branch. but I was so disppointed. they charged me service fee that I was not aware. talking to the manager, she wouldn't waive my 5 dollar fee. since then, I canceled all my account in BMO. in scotia bank, they charged me service fee that I didn't know. I explained to them, they waived it easily.

Thanks everyone here for offering your valuable info! I hate BMO too and may consider TD for another try! Does TD's easy switch really transfer all existing pre-authorized withdrawals and deposits completely?

for TD Easy-Switch, you need to prepare a list of pre-authorized payment account number before they can switch correctly
