Ottawa Police are investigating two sexual assaults that occurred on Monday.
The first happened around 7:45 in the morning after a young woman got off a bus near Parliament Hill.
A man asked her for a cigarette, then motioned as if he were armed and ordered the victim into his car.
The suspect subsequently drove for an extended period of time to an unknown large wooded field where he sexually assaulted the victim.
He is described as white, 5'-7", weighing about 180 pounds, and aged between 28 and 30.
Police also say the suspect had orange dyed hair, brown eyes, and a goatee.
He was wearing a light blue shirt, jeans, and red and white running shoes at the time of the assault.
The suspect's vehicle is believed to be a green, older model Pontiac Sunfire, with tinted windows, beige seats, rust on body and wheels, and a tow ball hitch on the rear.
Police also report a sexual assault from around 7:00 Monday evening involving a woman out for a walk near Front and Brook Streets in Aylmer, Quebec.
That's where an unknown man forced her into his blue pick-up truck.
The man then drove the victim to a wooded parking lot somewhere in Ottawa and sexually assaulted her.
He's described as bilingual, white, possibly in his twenties, with a heavy build, short black hair, a beard and moustache, wearing jeans, and a white or beige t-shirt.
Police have not drawn a connection between the two incidents.
