i want to cancel my bell internet, every month i got over limit and pay extra. i don't know if someone use my wireless or sth wrong with Bell and i don;t like the service from Bell.

any one has exp on Primus. I like to know it as well.

亲爱的同胞如果全世界的公司都死光了，也别用他家的服务，贝尔就是千不好，万不好也比他家强。
他家的电话差点把我逼疯了，有段时间打不出去，有段时间光听到铃声，一接就断，还有好多不说了，要说得说3天3夜。

Anyone care to elaborate more on bad experience with Primus? I almost got on with them yesterday. I've heard quite a few good comments about them, My Acanac term ends today, a lot of people that were on Acanac are now with Primus and have said nothing but good compared to Acanac!

千万千万不要用PRIMUS的任何服务,我也深受其害.
曾经用过PRIMUS的HOME PHONE, 后来由于搬家去魁省,打电话给PRIMUS的CUSTOMER SERVICE要求CANCEL, 电话里答应得好好的4月1日终止服务, 我信以为真了. 可到了当年9月份突然接到COLLECTION AGENCY的电话,说我拖欠PRIMUS五个月的电话费, 如果不马上连本带息支付就会影响我的信用记录. 打电话回PRIMUS CUSTOMER SERVICE,可对方已经不认账了.

Yeah I have heard nothing but good comments about Teksavvy. I am getting a 3-month free from Bell for now so I can shop around a bit before making final decision.

I am using Primus' home phone and 5M internet services for $40 per month.

I also have a long distance plan (international) with primus at $4.99/month with which I can make oversea calls to many countries at 2c/min.

1. The internet service is not bad. When I check the download speed it usually reads above 4.5M most of the time.

2. In the first month with primus, When I called China the line is usually disconnected before the completion of the conversation. But after I registered my complain with the customer Dept. the problem was fixed several days later. I have no problem since then (about 4 months).

During Christmas, I didn't use any upload or download, but still over 60G. If you want to steal wireless internet, you should be aware some one will pay it, it is not your bill. Be careful to use it if you have emergency to use it or use your own internet connection.

I make my money by hard working, not by stealing. I can "share" as long as it is NOT over limit. $90 is at least not small amount for me.

Why did not you set your wireless connection "secured"?

Use some encryption for your wireless connection. Better choose WPA2 or WPA; WEP has some defects but should be strong enough to stop amateur thieves. Use MAC address filtering if none of these are available -- in case the wireless router is extremely old.

Do some search on the Internet you will know how to do these.
