My nephew applied twice at his age of 15 and 18. No problem at all.
To apply, visit the website of the Canadian Embassy in Beijing and download all the forms.
If you will, give me your number so that I can answer your questions if any.
For 走四方: I don't know for sure, but I'm afraid it will be difficult.
For Anner: Since you are still a student, it will be difficult, too. Along with her application form, she has to attach your Tax Return Form of last year and your employment letter which shows your salary. Your bank information may help, but may not be sufficient. What I feel more important in the application is that you have enough money, not her parents. The immigration officer does't trust China side very much.
