问一个关于EI的问题

请问QUITIING原来的JOB后，如果立刻接了一个三个月CONTRACT的活，三个月后CONTRACT结束，是否能够拿EI？（原来的JOB工作时间已满EI的要求）。

yes, you can. but they will ask why you quilt the first job.

No, you cannot receive EI benefit if you quit your job voluntarily! one of the criteria states that:

- You can receive regular benefits if you lost your job through no fault of your own, for example, due to shortage of work, seasonal or mass lay-offs.

我打电话问过了，那里的工作人员也说的含糊其辞，说要根据各种情况考虑，真是不知道是否要接这三个月的活。

you need to accept the contract job. if you cannot find a job after you finish the contract job. very likely you can qualify to receive EI. For sure, you cannot qualify now because you voluntarily quit your job.

if it is your first time to apply for EI, it is 910 hours.
