怎么感觉比我还惨呢,你以前不是还力挺ottawa的吗?怎么?也熬不下去了?^o^

lolz, didn't think you were a girl
anyway ... about ground tricks, I personally prefer to have a stiff freestyleboard. With the same stiffness (not the rating, I mean the equivalent stiffness), you have better axial and lateral control, and it is more fun to ride.
if you want to buy a board, it is time to buy right now, or wait for 4 month and buy in summer. Buying from the States would be a good idea too.
about CSPS, you have do do training for 3 month and pass all the tests, then there is a certain level of commitment you have to make. Every year there is a re-cert test, which is the same test as the initial test, just that you don't have to do the classrooom time. The membership is about $150/annual. You get to ski a lot, and socialize with people, but again, there is a certain level of expectation of commitment from you.

Are you sure......if a board is too stiff, how can you blend the board? if you can't blend the board, how can you do tricks like 'ollies', 'nose slide'.......

um...the CSPS sounds so complicate and demanding, probably not for me.....I will just stick with a night pass, I guess.

oh don't take that negatively, that just means that jluo will stay in ottawa at least for that much time. Jluo loves Ottawa, and still think it is awesome (would be better if the housing price is lowed)

:D

stiffness is really a personal preferrence thing, you have to take in consideration with length, width, stance, height, weight, and of course the type of riding. Stiffer board means you need to try harder, and control better. The better you get, the more you will appreciate a stiff board (of course, not a stiff bastard)

I am not an experienced freestyle rider (I swtiched to terrain not long after getting into freestyle), so what I can say is very limited.

And free ski anywhere in the region at any time ... I would say it worth the effort.
