Third, Canadian Jacks and Jennifers would be happy to hear we respect and appraise their national hero and more inclined to accept what we are saying.

我是同意你的看法的，如果用中文写，用“伟大”的字眼也不算过，但是英文的文化似乎不常用“Great”来冠名，比如在特鲁多的葬礼仪式期间好象也没见用"Great"。还是请人proof reading一下为好。
