找到工作了 老板说要做employment security check， 我是international student， 这个会有影响吗？ 一般查些什么呀（不是政府的工作）

如果不是政府部门的工作，这类所谓的安全检查，都是去市警察局做。其实，就是是否有犯罪记录。国际学生为什么会有影响？

对，很简单的，好像是25刀，很快的。criminal check,警察局就有办，在Elgin和Catherine交接处

depends on the nature of the job ... if the employer doesn't give a form to authorize the security check, then it is really nothing as far as you haven't done anything seriously wrong.
