Must be spider mites or mealy bugs, wipe with wet tower, keep doing it every two days. They will be gone. Or you could spray with 70% alcohol.

thanks for the en/discouragement. I also bought peace lily and xmas cactus which are claimed to be plants that can't be killed.

So far all of them are still alive, it's been two weeks now...

A quick question, i found the soil of the gardenia turned hard since it arrived. why? I do water and spray it very often.

That's because they use lots of peat in the container which compacts a lot when dries out. Make sure you water it really well after it dries, such as merge the whole container into water for a couple of minutes. Add a bit vinegar for each watering.

Which Rona you bought it from? Where is it located?

It should bloom some for you if you can keep up the humidity and some good sun. Don't overwater.
