You should satisfy over 150 trades/quarter to get due $7.00 per trade, but over 30 trades/quarter and under 150, they charge you $9.99 per trade.

I heard BMO investorline only charge $25 per trade if you are inactive user and less $100,000 asset. Does anybody know it?

If you are an active trader, TD activetrader and Tradefreedom MAX platform are best for Canadian stocks , 7$/trade , both of them are direct-market access,both of them trading platform is developed by the same company .​

IB is good for US stocks and option trade . I also like IB TWS market scan function.​

If u are not active trade, I think Tradefreedom edge platform or Etrade are good , 9.99$/trade. TD waterhouse webbroker and others commission cost are more expensive than TF and Etrade.​

By the way , BNS bot tradefreedom this year.​

But Etrade require you to trade more than 30 per quarter to get 9.99$ per trade.

BTW: How do you transfer monty to Etrade? Can that be done online?

It looks TRADEFREEDOM TradeFreedom | Canadian Online Discount Broker Direct Access Trading Canada and QuestTrade Questrade Canadian Discount Broker | Online Stock Trading | Education have better deal.
Does anybody have experience for them? Such as service, and operations.
