Bamboo flooring, Good?Bad?

Would you please comment on the bamboo flooring if you have experience with it. Is there anyone have bad experience with Bamboo flooring? Thanks.

It is good. But not well known in Canada.

So if it comes with house, do worry about it. But if you are installing new floor, pick hardwood or engining hardwood. So when you sell your house , buyers may not have the same thoughts as you are right now.

I had it more than two years, we installed it by ourself, it looks very nice, and was a big benefit when we sell the house.

有一次水淹，找了人来把地板撬起，晾干一周后再铺上，象新的一样不变形。很幸运，还好铺的是竹地板。非要找竹地板的缺点的话，就是脚感比较凉。

虫蛀

Thanks for everyone's honest comment. This is a bit scary. Did you ever see bugs in the house with Bamboo flooring or just assume there will be bugs. I like the natural look of Bamboo flooring but I do not want to live with bugs. Thanks.

I never heard 虫蛀 is a problem for bamboo floor. the normal bamboo has sugar in it. insect may like it. but bamboo is treated to remove sugar when they are made in to floor. I don't think it is a problem.
