Don't worry about the sales tax, if they are willing to sell to you as a canadian, you don't have to pay any tax (not a cent), this is the law. If you still don't believe me, go to NH, there is no sales tax there anyway.

Right. As long as they sell cars to canadians, they dont charge tax but the Canadian government charge GST at custom.

If buying a new car from dealers in States, the custom charge GSTs based on invoice price. If you ask friends to buy the same model to you then sell it to you, the custom charge based on market price in Canad, most of which are more expensive than your purchasing prices... damn.
