use same shot, in PS or PaintShop Pro,
duplicate layer, change layer properties to screen, merge layers
then duplicate layer again, change layer properties to screen, merge layers...
This is a typical way to fix ynder exposure shots and it works very good. After couple rounds, you will need to start adjusting the level of screen. I have also tried multipy and it's equally okay.
