my little kitten is 5 month old, she's kinda tiny, only weighs 2.5kg. She injured herself very badly yesterday morning and had to go through a surgery this morning to remove the fractured bone...I'm very saddened by this accident...
At this young age, it's unusual such accident could happen to her, since her bone should be quite flexible....
If you also have cat at home, could you tell me what you feed her/him? and how much you feed her/him? Should I give her people food, like turkey, chicken, liver, etc as a compliment to her kitten diet? I feel she's too tiny and doesn't have enough muscle/fat to protect her from any incidents associated with normal cat activity.
My veterinary said if she follows a kitten diet, she doesn't require any special food...
thanks for your information
