Happy New Year and welcome back for the Winter Semester 2002. We have a very busy semester ahead of us with lots of activities planned. The first of these is this weeks General Meeting to welcome new members and returning members back from the holidays. The agenda is as follows:

Introducing new executives and volunteers.
Introducing our planned activities for this semester (calendar of events is attached).
Selling tickets to our dance on January 25 (more details to follow in an upcoming email).
Signup sheet for volunteers for the International Festival on Wednesday, January 30.
Signup sheet for the Dragon Boat race on June 23.
The meeting is this Friday, January 18, in the Vanier Building room VNR231 starting at 18:00. If you know anyone who wants to become a member of the CSA please send them to the meeting. We will be providing pop and some snacks for all of you to munch on.

本周五（1.18），晚上18：00，渥太华大学中国同学会，在渥太华大学的Vanier Building room VNR231,举行本学期第一次meeting。
主要是介绍新的义工还有介绍本学期的一些活动。
1、卖下周（1.25）的舞会的门票。
2、国际周的义工报名。
3、6.23好的龙舟队报名。

另注：如果有想加入中国同学会的人士。周五请到场注册，注册费3元。

Here is the info about the dance on the coming Friday:

The CSA is having its' first big event of the semester, a dance at the Liquor Dome, 200 Rideau St. NEXUS is being organized by the Chinese Students Association, Korean Students Association, Vietnamese Students Association, and Hong Kong Students Association. The dance is this Friday, January 25, starting at 21:30 and ending around 3:00.

Tickets for the events are $3.00 in advance or $5 at the door. We will be selling NEXUS tickets in the University Centre Cafeteria on Tuesday, January 22, from 10:00 - 16:00 and on Thursday, January 24, at our table in University Centre from 10:00 to 16:00.

Just a reminder, you have to be 19 years of age and have a valid piece of ID to get into the Liquor Dome.

How can I get the ticket? By the way I will be available in OU after 19:00 Tuesday & Thursday, is it possible for me to get a ticket at that time?
