MATTAMY 这个BUILDER怎么样?

我就知道一个事情 关于这个bulider的
上次我去理发的时候 正好有个顾客还有理发师都是买了这个bulider的房子 他们在讨论升级装修的问题。
其中提到 主卧卫生间的淋浴房居然没有门，标准就是没有门的。builder说 标准设计就是挂帘子的:0
大家都知道那肯定是不行的，所以都升级安门，结果门不是可以直接升级的，必须捆绑升级，一个门+墙砖什么的，小2000块钱。
我当时听了 感觉真跟流氓一样。 难怪房子便宜 回头都在这些地方找齐了。
而且他们延迟交工的时间推的也挺长的。

You get what you pay for. Building cost for every builder is the same. They hire same sub contract to build the house. If it is cheaper, it is because it is missing something.
I think when we buy a house, the location, lot size and house design is way more important than "装修", even the builder quality.
The house here is easy to fix and you have new house insurance for it. It may give to some troubles in few years, after all problem get fixed. It is usually trouble free for next 15 to 20. After that many things need to be replaced again.
Fixing the house is the part of being a home owner. It is your house, you have to fix it. For people don't want or can't to do things. It is a good idea to find a good handyman from yellowpage , ads or friends to help you from the start. They are worth their money.

个人感觉你还是要权衡一下: location, lot size, how much money you have, how easy to resell it, 很多朋友都有一个感受，（无论是什么builder),买了都后悔。

斑竹说得对，建筑质量都是一样的。可能是lot size, location 影响价格. 自己决定吧,实地考察. 不要一味听别人的意见. 我本人不是很欣赏minto (原因很多). richcraft 43 - to 50 feet 可以考虑 (open to above) 如果经济实力不错. Mattamy 的 36 feet,你可以看看.性价比! 纯属个人意见.
google 一下老外的forum. 肯定有收获.

一定要选好位置，房子以后一定会卖的，地点很重要噢！
在渥村，就那么几个声誉好些的建筑商。 选建筑商主要是看售后服务了。 有些建筑商，卖房子后就不太管事了。。。。 那可叫气人。
Minto房子地点挺不错的，就是需要upgrade的地方太多了。 Urbandale的也不错，价格也高。 Mattamy的设计很喜欢，房子间的距离太近了，到建好的社区一走，发现它家路也窄，很不舒服。 个人感觉Richcraft , Ashcarft很靠不住。它家的设计很不错。但去model home看，我是特喜欢到BASEMENT看，哇，觉得他们的房子很不稳，柱梁间居然可以见好大的距离。 一个朋友住的是richcarft的房子，他是第二手房东，居然发现房子里的电有问题，根本不pass city的测试。 另一个买了ashcarft 的，厨房放洗碗机的地方居然没有进水出水的管道！ 还说是设计就那样。晕倒。
