询问关于美国签证

请教大家

加拿大的永久居民要办理美国签证需要什么材料阿？

我只找到了这个预约面试的网站https://www.nvars.com/Production/UserHome.aspx

可是所需准备材料的 list 在哪里呢？

还有，签证目的就是为了回国走美国机票便宜些 ， 那visa type 选择 B2: visitor for pleasure 可以吗？ 这个一般给签多久阿， 半年？ 一年？

EACH APPLICANT, REGARDLESS OF AGE/GENDER/NATIONALITY, MUST BRING
• This appointment letter.
• Valid passport or travel document.
• Evidence of current immigration status in Canada.
• One passport-sized (2”x2”) color photograph, full face with a white background, taken within the past 6 months.
• Fully completed and signed DS-156 form. Answer all questions completely as incomplete forms WILL NOT be
processed. Print out all three pages and bring them with you.
• All males ages 16 – 45 must also fully complete for DS-157. Additionally, all applicants 16 or older (male and female)
who are nationals of Cuba, Iran, Libya, North Korea, Sudan or Syria must complete form DS-157.
• Forms DS-156, DS-157 and the ScotiaBank payment slips are available with your download package from
www.nvars.com
• Two pre-paid validated receipts for USD exact amount of the nonrefundable visa fee, paid at any ScotiaBank branch
in Canada. This fee cannot be paid at the Embassy.
• Self-addressed Canada Post Express Post envelope (Put your same address in the “To” and “From” boxes.)
• If applicable, criminal/court records, including section of the law and the maximum possible sentence, regarding any
arrest or conviction (including Driving Under the Influence), even if later pardoned.

A return envolope is mandatory. They will mail it to you via express.

不要自己买邮寄信封了（我自己买了，结果浪费了），他们会让你交费使用他们提供的信封或者自己取签证（不用交费），后者时间会快一些。这是2007年底的政策，不确定现在是否有变化！

枫叶卡和你护照上的那个移民纸，都带着，最好都复印一份
单位的证明和银行证明最好也开一个，说明你的经济状况,有房子的话把房子合同带着，这样最好

永久居民回国就不要走美国了，办理美国签证既费时间又花钱，总的算下来可能不一定省钱。
等你入籍后再走美国就不需要签证了。当然你现在想到美国旅游那就另当别论。

可以不用，你跟签证官说你要自己取签证就可以了。这样既省钱又省掉了邮寄的时间。
