用TFSA炒股看来不划算

I am considering to open a TFSA account with then. If I open it online, how do transfer fund into my account? And TFSA is the registered account, how does CRA know it?

After the account is opened, you can trasnfer money using bill payment to Questrade using your assigned account number as payee number. Since TFSA is a registered account, Questrade will send all related document to CRA and you do not need to do anything if you are following TFSA rules. You don't need to report any income earned in TFSA account, but also cannot deduct any interest expenses againist any borrowings.
