OHIP expires after you leave Ontario(Canada) 6 months.

Before OHIP expires, they would pay for emergency.

After OHIP expires, they would not pay nothing.

离境超过好像225天以上要通知OHIP，你必须亲自去一趟OHIP办公地点，填好一份Change of Infomation表，可以从网上下载，确定你的离境和返回日期，还要说明离境原因，学生需要有学校证明，工作需要有工作许可，都要原件，至于其他原因就不知道什么材料可以被接受了，总之去了以后交上表格和材料，他们就会当场处理，不需要预约。生病只管emergency，先自己付款，回来后报销。离境之前在这里买一份保险也许可以考虑。
