I will never use CT and 一抹黑
I have very bad experience with CT but even worse expense with 一抹黑.
If you only compare cost 一抹黑 is cheaper than CT. But CT fix the issue. I fixed 2 issues by 一抹黑 but both repeated in one week and left me in snow and dark.
Why comparing CT and 一抹黑. Think about other garages.
If 一抹黑 can only compares with CT( at price only by the way) 一抹黑 is far bad. But thinking about quality I will choose CT because I will have safety on road.
My suggestion, no CT NO 一抹黑. Choose other garage.

That is really true according to my experience. He even charge me more money because he said it is excellent part. But that excellent part crashed in 200 meters after drove the car from his garage. Thanks God it worked only 200 meters.

Totally agreed. His (一抹黑) knowledge and skills are poor. Lack of proper tools. Especially air cond tools. I knew this because I sent my car to him for repair and I found that he did not even have the proper tool to repair and he gave bullshit story. For minor repair, he is okay.
CT workers earn commission. The more ct charges, the higher the commission they earned. And hence you pay for the higher price. This also including the tips that they paid to the towing company who bring you to their shop. If they break your parts during repair, they charge to you if you don't know.
This is very true at CT Bell Corner where I sent my car for repair. I got cheated by them. They will damage your parts first without you knowing it and later tell you that it is not safe to drive home to force you to repair the damaged parts at their shop. Their customer service does not care. If you ask for a quote, CT will quote you the lowest, possible price just to attract you there. Once there, you gone.
So, never ever go to 一抹黑 and CT. Especially CT at Carling and Bell Corner. CT is a great liar. 一抹黑 is lack of skills and tools due to his size.

In terms of mechanic's skill/experience, authorized dealers normally are the better ones. However they are also more expensive.
I think for small jobs, a small garage with good references from people like friends/coworkers/neighbors would be a better choice. For major jobs, it's better to go to a dealer.
