该不该让现在的老板知道我在找别的工作

现在的工作还可以，环境，人员关系都不错。但最近有机会被另一家
公司面试，这家公司本身也挺好的，但内部关系就不得而知了。面试后，人家要3个
REFERENCES，要给吧，可能要带上现在工作的地方，但我又担心老板
会不开心我在另找工作，不知洋人对此类事情的态度如何？如果让他知道了，但最
终我又决定不离开现在工作的话，老板对我会有什么看法吗？

照例是不应该要你现在工作公司的Reference的，如果要了，就奇怪了。。。

you shouldn't give your current boss as your reference if you are not sure the new job offer yet.

If they need a reference from your current employer, find a good friend (not your boss) in your current company and ask him/her to be your reference --- make sure he/she can keep the secret in case you will not be employed after the reference check or in case you decide to stay with your current employer/decline the new offer.

If you plan to turn down the offer from the new company, why do you apply for the job at the first place? Sounds irrational (since they would not consider your application next time). Anyway, if you could find a reference other than your boss, it would be great. However, some employers ask for (and check) references at least one from your current boss directly before they give you an offer.

On the other hand, if your current boss knew you are going to jump out to other boats (sooner or later), he/she might not promote you anymore, unless you are the critical staff there.

我觉的你实话实说,告诉新公司,找目前的老板或同一公司朋友都不合适,他们应该理解,这也是为什么一些招人单位电话的INTERVIEW不打到公司,而是下班以后晚上甚至周末打到家里.
你可以找其他的朋友.as reference.别骑马找马俩马都丢了.
