下了OFFER以后,是否还可以进行价格的商讨

请问:下了OFFER以后,对房屋进行了检测,有一些问题,(如换屋顶等),是否以此为理由,和对方进行价格的商讨?如果对方同意是否要修改OFFER或重新下OFFER?谢谢!
 
did you specify "subject to satisfactory inspection" in your original offer?
 
This offer is conditional for 5 business days from acceptance upon the inspection of the subject property by a home inspector at the Purchaser's expense and the obtaining of a report satisfactory to the Purchaser in the Purchaser's sole and absolute discretion. The Seller agrees to co-operate in providing access to the property for the purpose of this inspection.

We discussed couple of issues with Seller, and the seller agree to fix some of them immediately. An additional agreement was signed to address the big issue. We decide to contine this transaction.

This year can be a good year to buy a house. Interest rate is low, price is falling, sellers are more agreeable with many things you demand. However, 2011 - 2012 will be a much better year though, it will be the year many house owner sending in their property assessment appeals.

Already, people are starting to requesting reassessment, some houses on MLS are already listed below the MAPC value.
