This tax credit is start from year 2009 or 2008 ?
The tax credit is for a project starting after the Federal budget day (Jan. 27, 2009) until Feb. 2010, i.e. the project (payment date) must be after the budget announcement day. Any project
completed before (e.g. in 2008) would not be qualified.

But the Energy Efficiency grant is not restricted by this one-year period. Good luck!
