UOCSA要这$250一桌的目的是考虑到一年就这么一次春节，想大家一起聚聚，吃得好点，玩得开心点，绝无赚钱的意思!

这中国新年晚餐一桌是$250(包税及小费)，你如不信可亲自去问扬子江的老板。 而且$250只是饭钱不包酒及饮料，UOCSA另购每桌一瓶酒及每人的饮料。此外，中国新年晚餐另设卡拉OK及抽奖和各种有奖有罚的游戏。抽奖及游戏的奖品包括无线电话，Gift Certificates (from $20 to $50 不等),CD Player 等等。

饮料及奖品都是用钱买的! 为了让大家高高兴兴过个年，UOCSA已准备贴钱给这次中国新年晚餐了，何来赚钱呢？

Even if the fund did come from the Chinese Embassy, so what? The organizers are not getting paid for their time and effort. Some people are being unnecessarily cynical. We need more supporters and volunteers for these activities.

Sage, I think those volunteers out to choose their words when serving the association.

If they get money from Chinese Embassy, it doesn't hurt to mention it. "贴钱" is not a right word.

I swear to god, UOCSA did not get money from Chinese Embassy, so how can we mention something that's not ture??? "贴钱" is a right word or not, hurt you at all?

Do not refuse to listen to some negative opinions. At least some negative opinions can remind someone not to do something if they have once had some ideas in their minds.

Every activity from the association just has some connection with money. I think if I do not take part in the activities for a whole year, I can save some money to buy a brand new textbook for next semester.
