The Ottawa Chinese Community Service Centre is seeking a Manager of Language Services. The successful candidate will oversee our Language Instruction for Newcomers (LINC) program and be responsible for the planning and implementation of all language programs in order to meet the requirements of employers and to meet the objectives of LINC. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience developing proposals for new language programs, have the ability to promote continuous improvement in program delivery and be able to negotiate and prepare contracts for funding.

Supervisory skills are necessary to oversee program staff and make recommendations in regard to performance appraisals. The successful candidate will act as a liaison officer with local service providers and government agencies to assist client learning needs and to promote OCCSC programs and services to the community.

College or University level degree in Adult Education or equivalency required. Fluency in English and knowledge of Mandarin, Cantonese and/or French is considered an asset.
