Sorry, I am so new in Ottawa, plus I don't drive, I wish sb could take charge of this job, so probably we can meet together, and starts working. See if this kind of group can work in our Chinese community.

几天没看这帖（计算机中木马了），没想到被点名了。再次证明，吹牛是要上税的。

小宝妈，我吹的是装地板，垒外墙。drywall是内墙，不在我吹牛之列。不过上drywall应该很容易。直接往beam上 用电钻钉drywall螺丁即可。再用砂布胶带补好接逢。抹上drywall腻子，就可以上漆了。如果你需要示范，我可以给你作个样子。只是最近比较忙，下班后和周末作足球裁判，网球教练有点应付不暇。给我发QQH，定个时间吧。另外，我的大部分工具都在多论多家中（上次修shower留那了）。要７－１以后才能回去取来。

还有上drywall一般同时要埋电线，那需要电工，最好是有执照的电工。我对电是十足的外行。你还需要请别人同时埋电线。

我刚自己做了电的部分，觉得如果是新建的墙，自己做电的工作还是很容易的。迄今为止感觉是最容易的一个部分了（Framing，insulation,electrical,drywall, paint, laminate flooring...)

但是应该按照程序请ESA的人来做检查。检查一共来两次，上Drywall之前来一次，等Drywall上好，所有插座，开关和灯具安装完毕以后再来一次，一共才$160（少于40个新增设备）

自己感觉如果是已有的墙，要增加灯或者插座什么的估计要困难得多，也需要一些更专业的工具。

But I took the shortcut. I got them to highlight all the information related to my project so that I do not have to read that damn book. It's huge.

not only it is huge, it is over $200...people say home depot has a trimed down version, I will take a look; otherwise I may ask for help from you...thanks...

hi everyone, it seems numbers of people interested in this group. Hopefully it will do some benifits to the community. trying to avoid weekend meeting-as everyone needs time for family, I will arrange weekday meeting. from 3:00pm to 4:00/4:30pm.
please advice which day will be the most convenient for the majority.-initially is second Tuesday of each month.
