据说渥太华不同时段用电收费不一样。也分高峰、半高峰和低谷时段？
不知道大伙听说过没有？

Yes. My meter changed into 同时段用电收费不一样 meter in last year. They call it smart meter. The meter will give out 不同时段: 高峰、半高峰和低谷时段 usage.

电表是换了,好象计费没开始.还是flat rate.

Oh, yes. I checked my Hydro Ottawa billing again, it was charged as before as flat rate in April.

No, this program will not start until the installation of Smart Meters is completed throughout Ontario.

From the Hydro Ottawa Web site:

Smart Meters are an important part of the provincial government's initiative to create a lasting conservation culture in Ontario and are currently being installed in communities throughout Ontario. The installation of Smart Meters for all Ontario customers is targeted for completion by December 31, 2010.
