For those PMed me I cannot reply one-by-one. Here is the info I can provide:
I cannot remember the road number but the GPS location (off the High way 417 then it becomes 40 exit 1 towards north and the place is in Quebec side and the place is called Pointe Fortune) is around 45.560038,-74.37757. The boat launch is near the Ferry (Hawksbury-Carillon) and you pay $7 for parking and launch your boat over there. You wouldn't miss the spot. Most fishermen use a special jig called "dart" to catch the fish. The small fishing store will ask $1.5 for each and they have small boat for rental. It is easy to lost your jig since the rocky bottum. Anchoring is a challenge though and the current under the dam is very strong so be becareful. I will bring the number next time I go there and ask the owner again but I don't think you need to reserve one if you go there weekday.
