1。一定要早到,5-10分钟就可以了
2。穿着得体点,长袖衬衫,领带,西装裤子,皮鞋,这些都是标准配置。没钱的话,可以去walmart搜购,我就这么搞得。长袖衬衫,领带,西装裤子花了我80块,室友鄙视我无耻>.<
3。面带微笑,不过不是色迷迷/猥亵的笑
4。对方说话的时候,认可的话,就点点头,表示支持
5。如果他们问有没有什么问题的话,不要说暂时没有一类的,尽量事先打稿,提点有关公司/职位的问题
6。表现得诚恳点,不要装逼,也不要太深情投入
7。多复习复习自己简历上头的project,如果有工作经验的话,回顾一下曾经干过啥
8。没话题的话,创造话题
9。洗漱干净啊,油腻的头发绝对是个NO,不过不要上味道太强烈的香水
10。看一下对方公司的网站,了解一下他们主要做什么,有什么产品,自己曾经有没有什么东西能跟他们厂品比较对口/相似

学校里面做演讲的人应该看过吧,就那样穿差不多.尽量formal. 短袖衬衫+西装裤/裙,皮鞋(不要太高跟的)
握手有力,眼睛对视,不卑不亢,大方说话,好像用不着take notes
 
One other thing that really helped me is to google for a list of common interview questions (e.g. why do you want this job? tell me about your experience. give me an example of when you demonstrated initiative. what's your biggest weakness. etc.) and answer them ahead. It's much easier to answer them again when asked.

女士建议也正式一点。连衣裙不行的,肯定要西装(西装裙+衬衫亦可)。面试的地方肯定不会热。夏天可以不穿西装外套,但是要穿衬衫。

问问题一般问问work environment, project, what's expected from you and how you should expect them, talk about yourself, try to sell yourself, what makes you better than other people
ask about company's financials in this economy (show curiosity, show that you care, but show sympathy)
ask about potential personal "expansion & growth"
ask about wage & benefits
 
I guess appearance is important but how to answer the questions asked is the utmost important issue.

Its depends on whether you are interviewing public or private sector. They are difference in terms of how to answer them.

For public section, where I am in, should provide answer in a logical breakdown rather than answer in conclusion.

For example, if you were aksed "Describe a situtation where you have a conflict with teammate?". This is a very common question in both public and private section. I would breakdown the the question and answer in the following sections:

1) Describe time
2) Describe parties involved ( you, the conflicted party and/or third party )
3) Describe conflicted event
4) Describe your opinion
5) Describe conflicted party opinion
6) Describe why 2 opinions have conflict
7) Describe HOW YOU REALIZE CONFLICT (this is very important)
8) Describe ways you resolve the conflict
9) Describe the response from conflicted party
10) Describe the result
11) Describe HOW YOU WILL/CAN AVOID THIS CONFLICT HAPPEN AGAIN (important)

I hope you can understand how I answer questions.

I don't think "Cat" is interviewing any technical poistion by her reply.

I guess strong behaviourial competencies are what they are looking for.
 
okey, what kind of position is it, if you dont mind to answer.........Coz now it sounds like an informational interview to me.

Public's wages and benefits are defined. So, don't expect to have those questions.

You mean public, is it interview in a public place? or public section means its a government position?
