Observations
1.
Watch how caregiver interacts with the children and if the children generally seem happy, relaxed and easily approach their caregiver.
2.
Look to see how clean / safe the centre or home is. The bathrooms, diapering areas and kitchen are good places to look.
3.
Look at the outside play area.
4.
Look to see what types of activities and toys are available to play with inside and if they encourage different types of play that stimulate all aspects of the child.
