请教大家一个关于老外(当地人)去世的事情

一个很要好的老外的朋友的妈妈去世了.作为朋友,对有关老外去世后应该如何表示的这些事情一点也不知道,请问过来人能踢教一下吗?比如花圈什么的.穿什么色调的衣服什么的.还有其它的.谢谢!!

不需要什么花圈。

男人穿黑色正装，就是西装革履的样子。

女人也要穿素雅的装饰，要serious就行了。

根据你和先走的人的关系，可以签个到，可以捐款，不一一而论。

多带些纸巾，just in case you are so moved to cry a lot.

可以送花圈。但有的人特意注明会不要送花但指定一个charity你可以把本来买花的钱捐献

Even among local Canadians they do not attend funeral of family members of their friends often. You can ask a flower store to send some white flowers with a card(you write something) to her/his house. That's what my co-workers did in this case although they are very close. I feel a funeral here is very private.
