一个wireless router与两个laptop的故事：请教行家

家有wireless router一个，一年来与我的laptop很和谐，可以通过无线的方式上网自如。可是，这种和谐的局面被昨天新买的laptop（小三？）给破坏了。

目前的情况是，（1）这两个笔记本电脑不能同时通过wireless router"连到Internet上；（2）经过多次测试发现，只能是其中的一个可以，另一个不行；（3）这种“有效”连接总是根据“first come, first served”的原则，即不论哪个laptop先与wireless router相连，都没有问题，而第二个总是不能真正地连到Internet上。

以上的情况都发生在以无线方式上网的时候。请问IT行家及各路高手，这会是什么问题呢？多谢了！

你的无线路由器的dhcp地址池是不是只设了2个啊? 自己看看路由器的配置

多谢ChCa的回复。我在网上找到一些改变设定的方法，尤其是下面这个：

1. Click Start and then Control Panel.
2. Select Network and Sharing Center.
3. Click the Change Adapter Settings (in left frame).
4. Right-click your wireless network adapter and select Properties.
5. Click the Configure button, and then select the Advanced tab.
6. Select Network Type from the list and you will see a drop-down box appear to the right under a "Value" heading. Change this value to "Infrastructure".
7. Click Ok and that should do it.

但我没有上述的第六项“Network Type”，只有“Network Address”，虽然有"Value" heading，但没有drop-down box。所以，没有进一步的办法了。我的notebook是：
Compaq Presario C700 Notebook PC
Vista Home Premium

在Network and Sharing Center 左方click Set up a connection or network,
再 click Set up a wireless router or access point, next ,next 。Vista 也会自动帮你setup的。

Choose 'infrastructure'.

The limitation of available IP addresses in router may limit the number of connected computers no matter how to access AP, wireless or wired. But you said '以上的情况都发生在以无线方式上网的时候'. It means there is not problem with wired connection. Therefore, the problem is not from the limitaion of IP addresses. If yes, login your router and check 'Start IP' and 'End IP'. The interval should be set bigger than 2 for 2 computers.

This one most likely is your problem. One way to check this is on each of your pc, open up the Dos box (Command Prompt), then type in "ipconfig /all" (without the "s), then see what IP addresses are displayed, they should be different (e.g. 192.168.0.1 and 192.168.0.2).

If not, check to make sure that both of your PCs are using the same channel number (e.g. 11), and both are using the same SSID.

You might need your computer's IP address if you set up an Internet connection, allow other people to connect to your computer, or need to troubleshoot network problems.

1. Click to open Network and Sharing Center.
2. Under Connection, click View status.
3. Click Details.
   Your computer's IP address appears in the Value column, next to "IPV4 IP Address."
