RTM means Release To manufacturers, which would be the same version that you would get on Oct 22 when you buy an OEM machine (such as the Dell, Lenovo, HP etc.).

So yes, it is better than the RC (which expires on June 2010).

我不大喜欢正版，每次激活很麻烦。我用D版的XP, VISTA,只要输入个序列号就行了，也不用什么激活不激活的。

会去登陆那个地方， My software里再按一下Windows 7， 页面里就给你一个序列号。

The MSDNAA web site should provide you with a key for activation, look around in the main page and you should find it.

The one that hcloud mentioned probably belonged to a volume licence package, so the key was already embedded.
