＂友好＂这一词组，恐怕只有在中国的外交用语词汇中存在。

在国际政治与外交领域，没有永久的盟国和敌对国，一切都须以国家利益为上。

Why are all these character assasinations coming from?

Does this mean anyone who has any dealing (business, fixing the plumbings, cutting grasses) with/at the Chinese embassy have to declare in the public what his political inclination is?

Does he have to tell you where he donates his spare money to so that he wouldn't have any "fishy" association? And does he have to tell you how much he makes a year so that you could be sure that no dirty money was paid by the embassy to him?

Now let's turn the table around, are you going to tell us what and where are you doing for a living so that we could be sure your intentions here are clear and noble?

So could you people please, even when you get very emotional during a debate or dicsusssion, step away from disclosing private (even business info has copyright right) informations? Because not only you are breaking the site's rule, you are also breaking the Canaidan Internet Privacy laws.

My intention of this post is not wanting to see this great site sinks into a public mud throwing site. If this happens, I will go somewhere else.

P.S. If any of you doubt my "connection" backgound, send me a 悄悄话 and we could discuss this over a cup of coffee.

他做为一个CHINESE CANADIAN(如果不是,那大家就都歇息了吧),如果和中国大使馆联系密切或者出面搞一些具有政治意味的活动,如果是他自己,WHO GIVES IT A SHIT.现在的问题是,要鼓动其他CHINESE-CANADIAN 和中国移民一起上国会山,这个举动很容易把CHINESE-CANADIAN单独于其他的CANADIAN,而且是庆祝共产党政权60大喜,长期短期的负面影响都有吧? 如果活动搞的轰轰烈烈,难免给人CHINESE-CANADIAN身在曹营心在汉对共党政权念念不忘的影响,这对其他根本没有这种想法,在加拿大和平生活的CHINESE-CANADIAN公平吗?

更有可能，看到你10-3大搞国庆。台湾人也可以学着，申请10-10同样在国会广场搞他们的国庆。到时候你怎么办。你总不能不允许人家庆吧。那时丑就出大了。使馆的主持为此可能要丢乌纱帽了。后患无穷。还是不开这个先例为妙。如果连这点隐患都看不到，实在没有当外交使节的水平。还请薛先生三思，也把在下的担心转告给使馆主持!!!

为庆祝中华人民共和国成立60周年，加京中华会馆将主办渥太华侨学界庆60周年国庆集会活动。活动具体时间定于10月3日星期六12:30于国会山举行。本次集会由中华会馆牵头并协同几十余家渥太华华人社团作为协办单位联合举办。集会还将邀请中国大使馆参赞及工作人员，加拿大三级政府政界代表出席。"

我的理解是：这次活动，是为侨学界庆祝中华人民共和国成立60周年组织的，即旅居加国的华侨、学者和留学生。

几十余家渥太华华人社团协办，凑点经费，不应该是个问题。

中国大使馆官员、加拿大三级政府官员，是应邀出席，他们是客人。

说将邀请中国大使馆参赞及工作人员参加，并没有明说是否给资助（其实谁心理都明白到底给没给）。客人凑个份子也是中国人的传统美德。

浏览了一下帖子, 其实本来大家的想法挺单纯的,祖国六十年大庆,热闹一下也没什么啊,对不对? 为什么非得想的那么复杂?? 某某的话还有点恐吓的味道,不至于吧... 在这里有时候觉得日子过的真慢啊,特别是又快冬天了, 有人能组织个活动,也挺好...

涉及到国家之间的交往，不同民族之间的和睦相处，光凭想法单纯还不够。要考虑各种后果。这么多反对意见不能说都没有道理。这些人都是长期在此生活，了解当地的习惯。
直接说吧，今后台湾人也要搞怎么办？他们可年年在蒙特利尔的唐人街庆祝双十节。我就亲眼看见过。把他们引到渥太华的国会山庄来,可没有咱们的任何好处。

其实60年和59年又有什么区别。何必搞什么大庆。我真想不通，都21世纪了，中国领导人还把自己降低到北朝鲜的水平，搞什么大阅兵。让人觉得穷兵渎武，搞军事独裁主义。
