Anyone want to share costco member card

费那劲干啥？找个有卡的朋友给买几张costco gift card，不就结了？又合法，又不多花钱，朋友还可以集点，costco还高兴，还不用把自己老婆借给别人，一家便宜几家着数。

这不乏是个不买会员卡，又能去那里买东西的好办法，合情合理。看来，凡事都得“懂”才行。

我们说得都没有错啊。既然有要求或规定，那么就不应该去搅尽脑汁省那么点钱了。凡事还是规规矩矩办好，心里踏实。

又不差钱。该省的就省，该花的就花。

为子女教育，大把花钱，补习班，钢琴课，特长班，体育俱乐部... ； 为了省那仨瓜俩枣（比如COSTCO卡），不惜毁我华人信誉。 有一天渥村的COSTCO也要验身，都TNND是这些人搞的。

True, but gift card is so "second class citizen", most Chinese immigrants like to brag about their costco membership.

I remembered a few years ago, costco was a rage. A few of my colleagues from China asked me if I had one. When I replied I don't, their jaws dropped and immediate they pulled out the cards from their wallet, saying you would need the card to get in the store.

I just laughed and said: "Do you know they just take your cash first before you even spend them"? At the time the interest was high, so for costco (it was called Price Club then) made a lot of money just from the interest.

You'd better position yourself right. If you think you don't belong to them, move on.
Do not make judgement to "ALL" Chinese because even all of them in your community behave the same.

当然，办事得体的人，永远都是多数。

儿童教育，往往是浅默易化的。其实，大人的一言一行，对孩子都是种无形的教育。

You'd better position yourself right. If you think you don't belong to them, move on.
Do not make judgement to "ALL" Chinese because even all of them in your community behave the same.

Just because you never heard about it doesn't mean it is not true. Also, you may not know, the rules being a member is stricter then, unlike today, so being a member, to these people, was to brag about.

Now Costco is more common, so it is no big deal.

绝对是精明人。佩服佩服。

有的人, 家里摆着5000 元的雅玛哈钢琴, 买的新房, 不明白的人还真被他吓着了- 好有钱啊! 实际情况就是家里捉襟见肘, 连Cosco卡都不舍得买, 只望着跟人假扮夫妻办卡. 特爱面子. 言语中总要把自己抬高. 哈哈...

Today, because of the economic conditions and competitions, almost anyone could become a member so there is no more bragging right.

It will waste more if you do not have a big family. Because the package is very big, more than half of a meat/fish package needs to be freezed for later use. It maybe a little bit cheaper for other stuff but with very limited selection.
Check out is a headache with very long line. I cannot figure out why some people buy more than $200 foods in one time.
I am thinking cancelling my membership.

我没听说过有商场“验身”的。要是有，我肯定不去。谁爱去谁去，商场少了我没啥，我少去一个商场也没啥。咱不求着去他家商场买东西，兜里有钱没地儿买东西？笑话！
