park and ride from kanata is about 25 min to downtown and back with express.


From my house 45 min in the morning, but may take a hour back home.

Barrhaven这边房连房, 都不敢打开窗帘, 家里阴森森的. 没草地没绿化.

From Strandherd Bus Station is only about 30 minutes to go to downtown by Bus 95 or Bus 73! I know a lots of people they working for Government living in Barrhaven, many of them are managers. Thay often go to the Bus station after 7am, you can see most people on bus 95 is during rush hours and around 8am.

I also know that there are lots of greens and trees in Barrhaven -- near Strandherd Station, Stone Bridge, behind Barrhaven Shopping center, near Ottawa river, and near Barrhaven library,...

Some area in Barrhaven may like your living as "房连房, 都不敢打开窗帘, 家里阴森森的. 没草地没绿化". But it is happened in some other areas too.

Maxium, seems like you are new to Barrhaven, I'd suggest you take some time walking/biking in the neighbourhood, not just sitting in the house with drapes drawn....... And if possible, be at the Fallowfield station between 7:30 and 8:30 am, and see for yourself how many buses and the crowd riding buses.

I am live in Barrhaven from year 2001! That could be earlier than you!

Behind my house, there is trees! And, my friend live in Stone bridge and near Ottawa River too!

On Bus 95 or Bus 73 from the Bus station of Strandherd or Fallowfiled, you can do it!

It'll will be much more faster because 95 Bus lane, (from Stradherd to Fallowfiled), is in building now. From Fallowfield to north side already has a 95 Bus lane now.

BTW, by bus is faster than by driving a car to go to downtown at rush hour. If not in rush hour, I drive to Chinatown or Ottawa downtown less than 20 minutes. Go Greenbank (80km limit) to HW417, about 20km to downtown.
