Manderley on the Green - Golf - Green Fees

Please arrive at the course half hour earlier to go though the proshop and practice a little bit putting etc...

The condition of Manderlay was surprisingly good. The course was very quiet and we finished 18 holes within 4 hours. Hugh hit 88 and mine was 102 but the bad thing was that we both played some mulllagens. I totally lost control of the iron swing from hole 5 to hole 8.

88 and 102 - not bad considering the weather yesterday, which should be a challenge for both fairway play and putting. My salute here!

On the other side, it's always nice when the course is not busy and you can control the pace of your play.

Very tempted to join you at the last minute when Hugh called me, if not in the midst of moving all funitures to prepare for carpet cleaning (at the order of my wife after several weeks of delay).

I always like Manderly. Achieved my first chip in birdie shot yesterday.
It was quite a relax afternoon with nobody else pushing us behind.
We picked up some lost balls and also wild apples. So it worth the money we paid:.

Hope they will have some end season promotion price later on.

Please check the score card again.

I remember that was a dogleg (left) par 4 hole with 320 yards. My first shot (wood 5 around 190 yards) hit to the right right side of fairway under a tree and second shot (iron 7 around 130 yards) on the left outside of the green on the slope. Third shot chiped in.
So three shots at par 4 =birdie.
